Hello There!
I’m Ian, a backend engineer who loves building tools that make life easier for other developers. I’m passionate about clean architecture, developer experience, and creating performant, reliable systems. Most of my work lives behind the scenes—but that’s where I think the real magic happens.
When I’m not coding, you’ll find me hiking/biking around the Bay Area with Nurture by Porter Robinson in my ears, playing strategy games like chess and Magic, or cooking Italian food.
If you’re interested in working together, don’t hesitate to reach out.
Projects
Here are some of my top projects:
- Osmanthus: An algorithmic chess engine, written in Python.

- Robinson: Extract data from the Spotify API and store it in a database.
